Terms and Conditions for TulipScript Atelier

Welcome to TulipScript Atelier. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the services provided by TulipScript Atelier, including calligraphy courses, traditional Turkish script workshops, modern calligraphy techniques, personalized calligraphy art commissions, online and in-person classes, and corporate team-building calligraphy events. By accessing or using our online platform or engaging in any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Services Offered

• Calligraphy Courses & Workshops: We offer various courses and workshops, both online and in-person, covering traditional Turkish script, modern calligraphy, and general calligraphy techniques. Specific details, including duration, curriculum, and fees, are provided for each course.
• Personalized Calligraphy Art Commissions: We undertake bespoke calligraphy art projects. Terms for commissions, including scope, lead time, and payment schedules, will be agreed upon individually.
• Corporate Team-Building Events: We organize tailored calligraphy events for corporate clients. Specific arrangements will be outlined in a separate agreement for such events.

2. Registration and Eligibility

• To register for courses or services, users may be required to provide accurate and complete personal information.
• Our services are available to individuals who are at least 18 years old or, for minors, with the explicit consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Payments and Refunds

• Fees: All fees for courses, workshops, and commissions are as stated on our platform or as agreed upon in specific proposals.
• Payment: Payments must be made in full or according to the agreed payment schedule for commissioned works, prior to the start of a course or delivery of a service.
• Refunds and Cancellations:
  • Specific refund and cancellation policies apply to each course, workshop, or commission, and these will be communicated at the time of booking or agreement.
  • Generally, partial refunds may be available for withdrawals made within a specified period before a course begins, subject to administrative fees. No refunds are typically issued after a course has commenced or for completed commissions.

4. Intellectual Property

• All course materials, including handouts, lesson plans, videos, and artistic concepts developed by TulipScript Atelier, are the intellectual property of TulipScript Atelier.
• Participants are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use these materials for personal educational purposes only. Reproduction, distribution, or commercial exploitation of any materials without explicit written consent from TulipScript Atelier is strictly prohibited.
• For commissioned artworks, ownership of the finished physical piece transfers to the client upon full payment. However, TulipScript Atelier retains perpetual copyright and exhibition rights for all created original artworks unless otherwise agreed upon in a specific contract.

5. User Conduct

• Users agree to use our services and online platform in a respectful and lawful manner.
• Any disruptive behavior, harassment, or violation of intellectual property rights is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination of access to services without refund.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. While we strive for excellence, TulipScript Atelier does not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TulipScript Atelier, its instructors, employees, or affiliates, shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the services; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the services; (iii) any content obtained from the services; and (iv) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Istanbul, Şişli, Turkey.

9. Changes to Terms and Conditions

TulipScript Atelier reserves the right to modify or replace these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of any significant changes by posting the new Terms and Conditions on this page. Your continued use of our services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.
